As an Inside Sales Rep for American pest, you'll work as part of the sales team out of our modern, professional office within a fast-paced environment. You'll focus not just on sales, but on customer service as well as you respond to high-volume inbound customer inquiries. You'll become an expert in American Pest's products, services, programs, and pricing. On the day-to-day, you'll manage all aspects of the inbound business-to-consumer journey - handling inbound leads by phone/website submissions/3rd party lead generation software, conducting a consultative needs assessment, documenting customer data in our web-based CRM, providing estimates for services, delivering electronic proposals, and collecting payment information. You'll schedule services, provide notification of service, and ensure adequate follow-up on open leads. You'll also be responsible for outbound sales activities and developing your pipeline, providing outstanding customer service all along the way. Who You Are... So, what does it take to be successful as an Inside Sales Rep at American Pest? For starters, you'll have an inner drive to make the sale and make the customer happy! You'll also have... A bachelor's degree in a business-related field -or- at least one year in a sales/sales support role -or- one year of account-based customer management A minimum 1 year working with a web-based customer database or CRM The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment The ability to effectively manage your time, prioritizing multiple tasks, maximizing performance while remaining customer-focused The ability to understand customers' needs, handle objections, and close business The ability to learn and retain complex pest control industry knowledge through company provided online, field, and classroom training A strong understanding of the Microsoft Office suite The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English The ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, safety regulations, operating & maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
